Human Rights House Network Assembly, Belgrade, Serbia, 22-23 November 2016




Human Rights House Belgrade and the Human Rights House Network host Network’s Assembly to be held in Belgrade, Serbia, on 22-23 November 2016 in Kneza Miloša 4.

Human Rights House Network is a community of human rights defenders, in which more than 100 independent organisations operate in 16 Human Rights Houses in 13 countries. The Network empowers, supports, and protects human rights defenders and unites members’ voices to promote the universal freedoms of assembly, association, and expression, and the right to be a human rights defender.

This year’s Assembly will bring together over 30 human rights defenders from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Croatia, Georgia, Norway, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Ukraine and UK to share success stories and discuss the challenges they are facing, and ways to become stronger in addressing them.
